Abstract
Designers have to complete their tasks faster plus a lower cost, so it is necessary exploring techniques and tools to achieve this balance matching with digitization in design and manufacture. so, the successive emergence of smart programs for design presents alternatives solutions according to inputs of parameters The objectives of these programs indicated by the concept of Generative Design, and the competition of the various fields of design to utilize that software in their specializations and ideate easier, faster and richer. Programming companies are racing to add distinctive updates to their programs, or to launch a new program that allows generating design, that what has been done in this regard is a new era in design. AutoDesk has launched Generative Design Programs based on the contributions of artificial intelligence that the program can suggest many different alternatives to design based on parameters and data that the designer feeds them based on the basic idea and manufacturing technology expected for the model being designed, the program analyzes these data and matches them with the initial design, This support allows the designer to focus on the design processes as a whole, and thus obtain the final result effectively. Therefore, the research provides how to Utilize the Generative Design software to help the industrial designer in ideation stage by re-processing the surfaces of a structural structure as one of the solutions and reducing the number of assembled parts in light of modern manufacturing technology, causing a positive impact on innovation and productivity.
