Abstract
Many artists and artistic theorists confirmed the importance of the fine line as one of the most important elements of art whose existence has been linked to the existence of a human being, it is also the starting point for the artwork. The use of the line to express different shapes and surfaces somehow comes naturally, lines in its various types are the primary tools of artistic expression, in addition to the many diverse functions that it performs, there is no doubt that the line exists in all types of arts throughout the ages and its association with all civilizations in various forms; All these makes line the basis of all arts and contend that the element of line is an indispensable element even in contemporary art, and that emphasizes the importance of beginning with teaching the value of aesthetic lines to art students to raise the aesthetics of the artwork.
