Abstract
Research Summary: Nowadays, relying on the use of computer applications to enhance and improve production processes and product manufacturing has become a requirement, such as 3D printing technology or additive manufacturing, where It is a huge advance in the printing and packaging industry to achieve sustainability by manufacturing customized and complex parts, with fine details and precise engineering, using a variety of materials, including plastic, metal and ceramic. 3D printing technology also allows for the possibility of customizing products according to customer needs, which enhances interaction with the market and contributes to achieving customer satisfaction. Because sustainability is an important factor in the printing and packaging industry, and 3D printing technology contributes to reducing waste and using resources efficiently. In this research, it aims to clarify the role of 3D printing technology in printing smart prosthetic limbs. The descriptive analytical approach and the experimental approach were used by producing one of the fingers of the hand using one of the 3D printing techniques and then analyzing the cost and production time elements, and through analyzing the results, it was reached It is possible to use 3D printing in the production of smart prosthetics, although it requires the availability of experts and trainers in this technology.
