Abstract
Fear is one of the basic emotions, along with anger, pleasure, and sadness. It belongs to the emotions that are aroused by tangible things and real thoughts. It is the opposite of anxiety and emerges through a threat or danger. It is a sensory response to upcoming pain, whether seen or not. It may be accompanied by a feeling of escape or confrontation, and the degrees vary. Pain expressed by fear, awe and terror. Fear does not have a specific form, is not linked to one style or another, and does not know psychological boundaries. Fear has a role in refining the creative experience and can stimulate creativity in art. The artist’s relationship with fear is complex. On the one hand, he cannot be creative without feeling afraid of something, such as fear of an angry reaction that might amount to a threat to his being and existence, or fear for his homeland from disappearing, which prompts him to work with his art to resist disappearance and confront the imminent danger. Today we live in a time of occupation, war, terrorism, persecution, discrimination, repression, violation of freedoms, censorship, instability, political, economic, social, and environmental imbalance, diseases, the epidemic, and the accumulation of information as an aspect of its manifestations. This situation generates a kind of anxiety, fear, and turmoil, which in turn is reflected and affected. Seriously on artistic creativity and ways to receive it .
