Abstract
Research Summary:
This study aimed to know the effect of using the Google Classroom application as one of the educational platforms in the development of knowledge and skills of students of the Faculty of Home Economics at Al-Azhar University to learn the basic simplified bodice block for women. The study found that the Google Classroom application has a statistically significant effect between the average female students ’grades in the pre and post achievement achievement in favor of the post-application of the research sample, to demonstrate the effectiveness of the Google Classroom application as one of the educational platforms, due to the positive impact of education using e-learning platforms An example of it is the Google Classroom application, given the ease of handling information and repeating it more than once at any time.
Accordingly, the recommendations of the research were as follows:
1- The interest of faculty members in each of its specialization, especially clothing and textile specialization, in taking advantage of the potentials of educational platforms as a kind of self-learning in the field of teaching to keep pace with modern technological developments.
2- Contributing to developing curricula electronically and employing information technology to serve the educational process and improve teaching methods in universities and support them with technological innovations, especially courses of applied sciences according to the available capabilities of modern technology.
3- Holding training courses for both teachers and students to develop their skills in using educational platforms.
