Abstract
The research aims to reveal the semantic values of the semiology of personal photos in order to reach innovative design solutions for metal jewellery that express human emotions. With the technological development, whether in material or performance, which enables the designer to highlight his thought and philosophy in an easier way, This is usually done by employing PMC (Precious Metal Clay) material, which is one of the newly developed materials. Therefore, the research problem is focused on studying the semantic values of personal photos for the design of contemporary ornaments in an attempt to achieve a relationship between the semiology of personal photos and the formative capabilities of the materials developed to reach the design and implementation of contemporary expressive aesthetic ornaments in the light of taking advantage of the expressions of human faces. The research aims to invest in the aesthetics and voluntarism of shaping the developed materials in the production of ornaments that highlight the features of human expression in the light of the semiology of personal images. Subjectivity: The art of portraits, which can be used in the field of metal jewellery, due to the presence of semantic and aesthetic values to find various plastic solutions that enrich the aspect of contemporary metal jewellery design.
