Abstract
Sports clothing fabrics are one of the important types of fabrics, that require attention and accuracy in their specifications and their structural composition to meet the functional and aesthetic performance of final product. Sports clothing is of a high degree of importance because of its impact on the rate of performance of athletes
The research aims to study the specifications of sport clothing fabrics .
Where 16 samples were produced for research according to the variables set to test their effect on the properties of the produced samples, which first the difference in material and number of yarn (cotton 30/1, polyester micro fiber 150/1, polyester renova160/1, cotton, polyester micro fiber &, polyester renova blended), second the difference in the executive method where samples were produced on weft knitting machines with different composition The samples were from 1:4 with Derby4/2 composition & the samples were from 5:8 with Single Jersey composition & The samples were from 9:12 with Rib 1/1

and the samples were from 13 : 16 with Interlock composition . provided that the samples for each installation are perforated with 4 raw materials as follows: 100% cotton from NO. 30/1 ,100% polyester micro fiber from NO.150/1 Danier,100% polyester renova from NO 160/1 Denier, 40% cotton+30%polyester micro fiber+ 30% polyester renova blended.
After testing the physical and mechanical properties on the executed samples
Then the results were discussed it turns out that the sample number:14,15 with Interlock ,100% polyester micro fiber 150/1 Danier,100% renova 160/1 Denier, gave the best results
