Abstract
*Summary
Sustainability for interior spaces through the application of (LEED) standards, as well as the application of the newly developed WELL principles in interior spaces. These applications have been studied through research and study of zero-energy buildings and green buildings, and how to employ modern and smart technology. And applications of the Internet of Things (IoT) technology in the interior spaces. The research followed the descriptive-analytical approach to solve some environmental problems, such as: the depletion of non-renewable natural resources and the high levels of various pollution resulting from human activity in the interior spaces using the applications of modern environmental trends.
The research aims to show diversity in sustainable trends and their impact on internal environments and various design solutions, taking into account the functional and environmental aspects, as well as shed light on the future vision in designing and employing smart systems, as well as applications of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in the development of modern environmental designs. The research emphasized the importance of the technological revolution and its sustainable applications, the importance of overcoming energy problems, enhancing the concepts of general sustainability of design and creating healthy environments, in addition to supporting the development of technological lifestyles in indoor environments, as well as opening the doors to the establishment of urban communities characterized by integration in the use of resources and energy.
