Abstract
The internal spaces of residential facilities in the Arab Republic of Egypt are a source of energy consumption and depletion because of the population increase and the continuous expansion in the construction of cities and buildings while neglecting to apply environmental standards in design and construction. The research aims to present the possibility of transforming the internal space of residential facilities in Egypt from a source of energy depletion into a source of harvesting clean energy by applying techniques based on the potential and kinetic energy of objects as alternative sources of energy generation. Therefore, the design phase will be preceded by the analytical study phase of the internal spaces of residential facilities and the users of those spaces, and this study will be conducted through three phases to ensure the efficiency of the application. Since the application of this type of energy depends on human performance and the potential energy of the elements surrounding him, this technology will contribute to reducing the demand for natural resources and reducing the environmental impact of harmful emissions associated with energy generation, which raises the possibility of adding mechanical energy to the energy mix in Egypt, as the International Renewable Energy Agency has not yet been classified it as an alternative energy source.
