Abstract
The applications of augmented reality have become widespread globally, as they have been successfully used in multiple fields. This research aims to use augmented reality to guide the assembly and learning of assembly and maintenance of electronic devices targeting users. The research problem is that the assembly and coordination of electronic components is difficult due to the multiplicity of knowledge The research explores the use of augmented reality as a guiding tool for assembling and building electronic components for starter robotics kits by creating a virtual layer of static and animated instructions on the components. To clarify its function, how it works, how to assemble components, the relationships between them, and the programming associated with them. The research also concluded that augmented reality develops the nature of learning for users in an intuitive and interactive way. The strengths and limitations of these technologies were also discussed in the research, which provides insight into their suitability for users. The research also evaluated the effectiveness of augmented reality as a guiding tool through user studies and performance analysis. Findings from the experiments provide empirical evidence demonstrating the benefits of augmented reality in this field. The research also identifies future challenges and directions, such as enhancing realism and intuition in virtual instructions, improving the learning curve, and reducing errors during the design process. The research followed the experimental approach.
