Abstract
The use of interactive interior design elements in children’s spaces has become almost essential due to its positive impact on children’s psychology and physical development. When designing for children, it is crucial for designers to thoroughly understand their psychology and needs, as playing is one of the most fundamental aspects of their development. Although it may seem non-essential, it significantly influences a child’s cognitive growth. Interactive design which is one of the computer technology’s advancements, can be used to create smart, integrated play environments for children. The research problem lies in the insufficient use of interactive interior design elements in children’s spaces, despite their positive impact on children’s psychology and physical growth. The study aims to explore the importance of interactive interior design in children’s environments, focusing on its psychological and developmental benefits. It also highlights the role of play in a child’s life. Additionally, the study seeks to understand how technological advancements and interactive design can be effectively utilized in creating child-friendly spaces, showcasing the link between interactive design and computer technology. The research employs a descriptive-analytical approach to examine children’s psychology and needs, alongside an exploratory approach to assess the impact of modern technology on interior design, particularly in children’s environments. The findings emphasize the importance of integrating interactive interior design elements in children’s spaces, enhancing cognitive and physical development. Additionally, the study presents innovative methods that use modern technology to create safe, enjoyable, and stimulating environments for holistic growth.
