Abstract
Interior design is a field where creativity, beauty, and function come together to create interior spaces that meet the needs of individuals. Modern technology has played a significant role in improving the design process. Through the development of many interior design tools, the provision of 3D visualization programs, and the introduction of virtual reality, it has become easier for designers to express their ideas, find quick solutions, and reduce the time and effort required to complete their designs. Despite this, we find many problems that may occur during the management of the design process and its implementation on-site. There are still other needs to create the necessary flexibility among those involved in the design work. Here, the research problem poses itself: Has modern technology influenced the creation of a new technology that provides a shared data environment among those responsible for the design process, and has the ability to document information and data related to the project to ensure better and more accurate management and monitoring of interior design processes, and helps clients understand and monitor the implementation of the design at all its stages, and gives them the opportunity to participate effectively in the decision-making process? Therefore, the research aims to showcase the latest techniques and technological tools, specifically BIM technology, in managing interior design processes to achieve the easiest ways and the highest level of efficiency in monitoring project stages, controlling time, reducing risks, and ensuring the sustainability of buildings and their better maintenance.
