Abstract
In recent years, the tourism sector has undergone a rapid digital transformation, which has directly impacted the methods of delivering tourism services and promoting various destinations. Interactive digital technologies have become a fundamental component in shaping the mental image of tourist destinations, aiming to enrich the tourist experience and enhance engagement with tourism content. Within the framework of Egypt’s Vision 2030, the state is working toward developing a sustainable tourism sector that contributes to economic, social, and cultural growth and keeps pace with the accelerating global changes in this field.

Despite Egypt’s significant tourism potential, traditional marketing methods continue to hinder efforts to attract tourists, especially amid the ongoing shifts in traveler preferences and behavior. This raises the central question of this research: How can interactive digital technologies contribute to creating an appealing digital image that overcomes the monotony of traditional tourism marketing methods and enhances the visitor experience at Egyptian archaeological sites.
This research aims to highlight the importance of employing interactive digital technologies to build an innovative digital image that strengthens the effectiveness of sustainable tourism marketing, focusing on the experience of heritage tourism in Egypt as an applied model. The study explores the extent to which these technologies can improve the tourist experience and activate the visitor’s role as an engaged participant in the interactive process .

The study adopts a descriptive-analytical methodology, through reviewing and analyzing the most prominent interactive digital technologies used in tourism marketing and examining their applications within Egyptian archaeological tourism
