Abstract
The study discusses the functional dimensions of user experience design in digital applications. User experience is a vital part of the design and development process of digital applications and plays a significant role in their success and user acceptance. The research aims to analyze the functional dimensions that must be considered when designing the user experience in digital applications. The study identified several important functional dimensions in user experience design in digital applications. These dimensions include: the navigation system and its patterns, which refer to how the application structure is organized and designed and how the user navigates between screens. Navigation must be easy and logical for the user to access the desired information and functions. Different navigation patterns can be effective in specific situations based on various factors for digital applications, such as content structure, user needs, screen size, and previous user experience. Accessibility refers to the ability of an application to be accessible in a way that ensures people with disabilities can access and use it effectively by providing an accessible user interface and additional features such as text enlargement, color scaling, and voice reading assistance. Finally, usability refers to the ease with which an application can be used and understood by users. This is achieved by designing an intuitive and user-friendly interface that minimizes the effort required by users to perform tasks and achieve their goals. Based on these functional dimensions, digital application designers can enhance the user experience by taking them into account, leading to increased usage and acceptance by users. These dimensions form an important foundation for the design and development of modern digital applications that aim to provide an effective and satisfying user experience.
