Abstract
The advancement of industries and handicrafts and heritage products is one of the reasons that lead to the preservation of the distinctive features of civilizations. In addition to merging tradition and modernity by developing heritage industries according to the spirit and requirements of the times, by promoting hand-woven heritage products such as kilims, tapestries and handmade carpets, the finest types of fabrics can also be made with handmade weaving where these textiles are of high value to their users. These heritage crafts face a stage of deterioration, so they can be promoted by creating distinctive design ideas using artificial intelligence and simulating them to attract the consumer to the products, creating models of products and presenting them to consumers, determining purchasing power, knowing the market needs of all types that are produced, and focusing on what the consumer market requires.
This research aims to study the benefit of entrepreneurship in the development of traditional crafts and the establishment of small projects with the possibility of developing them into pioneering projects by supporting creativity and innovation, which in turn leads to high return and the availability of high growth opportunities by identifying the concept of small projects and their place in the Egyptian industrial structure, and the strategic objectives behind the development of these projects and the most important challenges they face.
