Department of Interior Design and Furniture, Faculty of Applied Arts, October 6 University, Giza, Egypt
Abstract
The economic problems facing the world have a significant impact on many areas, including interior design and furniture. One of the main effects of economic problems on interior design is the reduction in spending on interior design and the use of alternative, cheaper materials instead of natural ones. Therefore, the use of recycled natural materials in interior design represents an important part of economic leadership and sustainability. Using these materials in interior design creates access to innovative and unique design solutions, as well as sustainable solutions that help improve the quality of life in the face of environmental changes that the world is going through. The use of recycled natural materials in interior design can have a positive impact on sustainable economy, as it allows for high-quality design solutions, innovative and aesthetic design while preserving natural resources, avoiding waste, and reducing carbon emissions. Therefore, investing in the use of recycled natural materials in interior design can contribute to achieving economic, social, and environmental sustainability in society.
